I've been super busy my senior year, so I've only been able to work on this during the occasional free period during school. It took me almost a whole semester
I had my wisdom teeth taken out over the summer, so I drew most of this while recovering. I also got COVID towards the end, so that gave me time to get the rest of it done. Then, my sleep paralysis demon woke me up one day, and then I made some changes and completely finished :)
Here's the most recent drawing of Renjun I've done. My parents bought me an iPad pro a few months ago, so I thought I was basically obligated to learn how to draw. I don't consider myself good by any means, but here's one of the things I've done so far. I grew up not being artistic at all. For as long as I could remember, I've always wanted to be good at art. Honestly, I use so many references and can't sketch out my portraits yet, so I consider myself an absolute beginner. The crappy pixel art is all mine though, haha.
Here's the first thing I really drew. As you can see, I haven't been able to finish it. The patterns on the clothes are WAYYYYY too complicated. What you see took about 13 hours and I'm not even half way done with clothes and it's taken another 12 hours. I'll probably never finish this one, so I'll just post what I got done. More importantly, as I was drawing this, I developed some sort of condition in my arms, so I'm only able to work on projects and drawings a few hours at a time. Expect long gaps from when I post art.
