Hello, I'm Mary, a college Freshman. For as long as I can recall, I've always had to be doing something. My hands have always had to be busy. Of course, I did lots of various crafts as a child, but Junior High is when I first taught myself how to sew in order to make cosplays. Since then, I've deviated from cosplay and make my own clothes. I was accepted to FIT, the best fashion design school in the country, but decided not to attend because I received too much scholarship money in-state.
Two years ago, my brother got a DDR machine. For the summer, it stayed in our garage, and I got pretty darn good by the end. My brother then took it with him to his college apartment. Throughout this, we were also looking for a Pump It Up Machine (basically the Korean equivalent to Dance Dance Revolution) and it currently sits in my house. I'm not anywhere near good enough to compete, but I'm at the perfect level to get the max exercise and to impress people, haha.
A year ago, my father bought me an iPad. I figured that I was obligated to learn to draw, so I taught myself. My Senior year, I realized that I hate medical science, so I dropped my anatomy class and took art instead. I also took Theatre for one year, and my greatest regret is not starting sooner. My favorite memory ending High School was performing a monologue in front of the entire theatre department's family. That, or the tornado that happened during graduation.
I've played guitar for about 10 years and I've played flute for 6 years, the latter of which I find much more fun to play. I considered a music degree, but I'm a little too nervous to play in front of people. I was in marching band for 4 years. My favorite music genres have always been rock and metal, not really influenced by anyone other than my own curiousity. My favorite bands are W.A.S.P. Megadeth, and Mayhem (I know, I know). (Because of my music taste, I guess I have to clarify that I am strongly opposed to fascism and any sort of hatred towards oppressed groups.) I also really like cute things and Asian music (specifically NCT). Thank you for looking at my page! ^^ There's much more about me I'll put here, but I know people tend to skim through about pages.
